Enlisted February 2002, deployed to Afghanistan May 2003, volunteered to be a member of the Close Observation Platoon in Northern Ireland 2004-2006. In April 2006 he was deployed to Iraq as a sniper. Transfering to the  AGC (MPS) in 2011 he had a 2nd deployment in Afghanistan October 2012 to May 2013. Reaching the rank of Platoon Sergeant he left the Army in December 2014
