A scarce Royal Flying Corps WW1 pair to Lieutenant Philip Douglas Baker, a confirmed pilot who was the son of a wealthy American.

Philip Douglas Baker, born 19/7/1894 Brasted, Kent, enlisted with the Royal West Kent Mounted Rifles in 1914 and trasferred to the 3rd Home Counties (Cinque Fort) Brigade, RFA. He was apppointed 2nd Lieutenant in August 1915 and transferred to the RFC, stationed at NO4 Flight Training school Egypt. He was discharged while serving with 110 Irish group in 1919 but rejoined. Whilst serving with 216 squadron RAF, he was slightly injured in an air accident 5/11/1923 in Helipolis which was due to a control column failure. He married 6/2/1917 and died in Huntingdon 27/4/1963. Comes with some research but worthy of more
